Fr. Varghese Vithayathil MST

Fr. Varghese Vithayathil MST is a Catholic priest ordained for the Missionary Society of St Thomas the Apostle, originally from Kerala, India. Fr. Vithayathil was ordained on 18 April 2005. He currently serves as the Forane Vicar (Parish Priest) of St. Thomas the Apostle Syro-Malabar Forane Church in Brisbane South, Australia.

He is also the spiritual director of the Evangelisation Ministry, Syro Malabar Eparchy of St Thomas the Apostle, Melbourne.

Previously, he served as parish priest at St. Alphonsa’s Syro-Malabar Parish in Brisbane North (2023–2026). Before that, he served at St Thomas Church, Bendigo, and St Alphonsa Mission, Shepparton (2019-2022), and has been actively involved in various church organisations and ministries.
